線與金屬配件的連結 - 帕洛瑪結 Palomar Knot


一個理想的釣魚繩結，所需要的條件不外乎簡單好打，而且強度充足。

就這些條件而言，用來連接線與金屬配件的帕洛瑪結可說是最頂級的繩結之一。不但只需轉眼的時間就能完成，打出來的形狀也相當簡單俐落。再加上強度過人，可說是集合了所有繩結的優點。

首先把線頭反折讓雙線通過連結環或路亞等圓圈，然後繞在母線上打個結做出繩圈。再把有兩條線的前端攤開，把整個金屬配件塞進去。接著反折回母線，同時束緊母線和等一下要剪掉的多餘部分。最後剪掉多餘的長度就完成了。

這個繩結的特徵是綁的東西一定得通過線前端的繩圈，所以只能適用於前端有金屬配件的情況。因此最適合用來連接路亞和拋棄式鉛墜，所以如果是在製作釣組的途中才要加裝金屬配件，就無法使用這個繩結。

In terms of these qualities, the Palomar knot, used to connect line and metal fittings, is one of the best knots available. It's quick to tie and produces a clean, simple shape. Combined with its exceptional strength, it embodies the advantages of all knots.

First, fold the line back through the loop (such as a swivel or lure loop), then wrap it around the main line and tie a knot to create a loop. Next, spread the ends of the two lines out and tuck the entire metal fitting inside. Then, fold the line back over, tightening the main line and any excess material to be cut off later. Finally, trim off the excess length.

The key characteristic of this knot is that the material being tied must pass through the loop at the end of the line, so it's only suitable for situations where there's a metal fitting at the end. Therefore, it's best suited for connecting lures and discard sinkers. If you're adding metal fittings during the rig assembly process, this knot won't be suitable.
