基本繩結 - 稱人結 Bowline


稱人結的英文是「Bowline」，此外又名「繩結之王（King of Knot）」。由此可見這個繩結的強度之高以及用途之廣了。日文稱為「舫結」，因為這個繩結原本是停泊船隻時所用，意思和英文名稱的Bowline相同。

它並非只是個強度很優秀的繩結。最大的優點是即使被水淋溼，也能夠輕易解開。正因如此，才會廣泛地應用在船隻的停泊、海邊和河川等水上作業。和英國人結一樣，可以纏繞在柱子等物體上再做出繩圈，因此繩圈的大小可以自由調整，這也是它廣獲好評的理由之一。

對不必鬆綁的釣組而言，雖然這個繩結幾乎無法派上用場，不過卻可以用來綁水桶、魚簍、魚串等釣魚配件；從高山把東西運上運下的時候，也可以發現這個繩結的蹤影。因為這也是製作逃生繩索時定會用到的繩結，最好還是要熟記它的打法。

The English name for this knot is "Bowline," and it's also known as the "King of Knots." This demonstrates its high strength and wide range of uses. In Japanese, it's called "Hōmiki," because it was originally used for mooring boats, and its meaning is the same as the English name "Bowline."

It's not just a knot with excellent strength. Its greatest advantage is that it can be easily untied even when wet. This is why it's widely used for mooring boats and for water operations such as those at sea and in rivers. Like the English knot, it can be wrapped around objects like pillars to create loops, allowing for adjustable loop sizes, which is another reason for its popularity.

While this knot is almost useless for fishing rigs that don't require untying, it can be used to tie buckets, fish baskets, and fish strings; it can also be found when transporting goods up and down mountains. Since this is a knot that will definitely be used when making an escape rope, it's best to memorize how to tie it.
