線與線的連結 - 雙8字結


最近不用連結環等轉環，改把線與線(母線和子線)直結的情況愈來愈普遍了。目的是確保釣魚線的結節強度完全不會降低。畢竟如果使用材質異於釣魚線的連結環等金屬類製品，難免會發生金屬割斷釣魚線的悲劇。

結法比想像中簡單，先反折前端，用兩條線做出一個繩圈，再把食指或中指從繩圈下方插入再加繞兩圈，最後從任一邊抽出來即可。雙8字結不像外科醫生結還要把繩子一條條的抽出來，只需手指擰住交叉部位就可以完成一連串的動作，即使刮風下雨，也無礙繩結的進行。

訣竅是最後在束緊時，要分別握緊每一條繩子，不要讓繩子纏在一起。把繩圈做的大一點可以讓子線連線軸一起穿過、抽出，所以可以先不要剪掉繩子，等到繩結打好後再決定長度。

Recently, it's becoming increasingly common to skip swivels and tie the lines (main line and leader) directly together. The goal is to ensure the knot strength of the fishing line doesn't decrease. After all, using metal swivels or other metal products made of a different material than the fishing line can easily lead to the line cutting.

The knot is simpler than you might think. First, fold the front end back, make a loop with the two lines, then insert your index or middle finger under the loop and wrap it around twice more. Finally, pull it out from either side. Unlike a surgical knot where you have to pull the lines out one by one, the double figure-eight knot only requires twisting your fingers at the intersection to complete the series of movements. Even in wind and rain, it won't hinder the knot-tying process.

The trick is to hold each line firmly when tightening it at the end, preventing them from tangling. Making the loop larger allows the leader and spool to pass through and be pulled out together, so you don't need to cut the line yet; decide on the length after the knot is tied.
