基本繩結 - 活稱人結 Running Bowline


稱人結的優點是繩圈打好了就不會再縮小，但在某些用途上，圓圈如果能收得緊一點反而好用。例如用來捉捕動物的陷阱。如果繩結不會愈拉愈緊，那麼很容易就讓獵物逃脫。「活稱人結」便是在這個時候最能派上用場。英語稱之為「Running Bowline」，意思是以從航行中的船上拋下繩子的要領，把繩圈套在岸邊的地樁或柱子。

應用在釣魚時候，如果想要把魚線和魚籠固定在岩石上去，這個結就顯得彌足珍貴了。繩圈可以愈拉愈緊，所以沒有鬆弛、鬆脫的危險。雖然另外還有更簡單的「陷阱結」（英文稱為Nose）和「鬆脫結」（Slip Knot），但信賴度卻略遜一籌。為了防止結頭鬆脫，讓好不容易才抓到獵物溜走，還有船隻飄走，還是得牢記這個繩結的打法才行。

The advantage of the bowline knot is that once the loop is tied, it won't shrink further. However, in some applications, a tighter loop is actually more useful, such as in animal traps. If the knot doesn't tighten as it's pulled, prey can easily escape. The "running bowline" is most useful in these situations. In English, it's called the "running bowline," meaning to secure the loop to a stake or post on the shore, similar to how a rope is thrown from a boat.

In fishing, this knot is invaluable if you want to secure the fishing line and fish trap to rocks. The loop can tighten as it's pulled, so there's no risk of it loosening or coming undone. While there are simpler knots like the "trap knot" (called the "nose") and the "slip knot," they are less reliable. To prevent the knot from coming undone and allowing hard-won prey to escape, or for boats to drift away, it's essential to remember how to tie this knot.
