抱緊結是用來連結較細的線和接續金屬配件的繩結。這個繩結的方法也很簡單，所以連接連結環和路亞時會派上很大的用場。

首先把線的前端通過連結環等金屬環再反折，留下反折後的U字形部分，接著纏繞3~5圈。這時要小心如果沒有把連結環固定好，連結環一動就會讓完成的線捻恢復原狀。纏繞完畢後把線的前端穿過U字形部分，然後反折回來穿過大的繩圈。

束緊的時候，先用八分力拉往線的前端，再施加點力道拉住本線。等到結頭順利成形後，再剪掉多餘的部分就完成了。

纏繞在本線上的時候，如果右手的大拇指、食指、中指能同時加入搓捻會比較順利。另外，把線的前端穿過U字形的動作也是最容易失敗之處，最好能把左手的食指使得熟練一點。

The swivel knot is used to connect thinner lines and attach metal fittings. This knot is quite simple to make, making it very useful for connecting loops and lures.

First, pass the end of the line through a loop or other metal ring, then fold it back, leaving a U-shaped section. Wrap the line around the loop 3-5 times. Be careful at this point; if the loop isn't securely fastened, it can easily loosen the twist. After wrapping, pass the end of the line through the U-shape, then fold it back and pass it through the larger loop.

To tighten, first pull the end of the line with about 80% force, then apply more force to hold the main line in place. Once the knot is properly formed, trim off the excess.

When wrapping the line, it's easier if you can simultaneously use your right thumb, index, and middle fingers to twist the line. Passing the end of the line through the U-shape is the easiest part to fail at; it's best to practice using your left index finger more.
